*** It is recommended that the piece required for screening, Faure: Morceau de Concours, not be one of the final audition pieces chosen. Compositions chosen should demonstrate the applicant's ability in phrasing, sustained playing, and technical facility, including legato and staccato at varied tempi. While not required, orchestral excerpts are welcomed and encouraged.
