<예비오디션>
 
학부(BM)
 
1. A song in Italian from the 17th or 18th century
2. An English song (not a translation)
3. A song in French OR in German
 
 
석사(MM)
 
1. A song in English
2. A song in German
3. A song in French
4. A song in Italian
5. An opera aria *
6. An oratorio aria *
 
 
* Please note that six separate selections are required for the graduate level,
i.e. an aria in Italian should count as either your aria selection OR your song in Italian,
but not both. Due to time constraints, no more than two operatic arias.
 
 
DMA 혹은 Professional Studies 
 
A full-length recital from four contrasting style periods, which includes compositions in
English, French, German, and Italian.
The program should contain 60 minutes of music, and include no more than two operatic arias. 
 
 
<라이브 오디션>
 
 
-  Live auditions are approximately 10 minutes in length (doctoral auditions are approx. 15 minutes in length).
   Applicants must perform all works from memory.
-  Each applicant chooses the first selection and the faculty will choose a second piece from the audition repertoire list provided by the applicant.
-  The Chairman of the Voice Department asks that your first piece be no longer than three minutes.
-  An accompanist is provided free of charge for all auditions.
 
If applicants wish to rehearse with Manhattan School of Music's accompanist BEFORE their audition,
rehearsal time and cost should be arranged between the two parties.

Please come prepared with 15 copies of your recital program for the faculty present at your audition.
 
Graduate applicants must take a short diction test (approximately 15-20 minutes), covering general IPA.
Professional Studies applicants may take short diction test (15~20 minutes) either before or after their scheduled audition time
